Dear Ms. Peters:

Dr. Ito's outline is interesting, but the field has advanced sufficiently 
since the Japanese publication of his book that updates will surely be
required.

My study of Japanese did not reach the point of being able to read his
book, or any book for that matter.  I do not know whether I would have
the time to thorougly review an English manuscript of Ito's book, but I would be
willing to look it over and offer some recommendations.
